Empowering Canadians with knowledge and legal solutions to protect their rights!
We are people helping people

Hundreds of you have reached out to us by email - thousands on our private Facebook group - one common theme. Denial of entry - no service for not wearing a mask.
Being denied entry or refused service is one thing, but being shamed, bullied, discriminated against, separated from loved ones, psychologically and physically attacked is another. Being charged with trespassing is just another level of humiliation.
Caught on video by a bystander - an unmasked man is swarmed by security guards at a Canadian Tire in Burnaby BC in February 2021, and it escalates into physical violence. This unidentified man may have then been charged with assault. Judge for yourself who is the victim.
Listen to how CTV reports this story. It is completely one-sided.
This is very difficult to watch. We don't know what is more disturbing. The fact of the violence or the fact that no one helped him.
73 yr. man killed by Police after fleeing Valumart in Minden Ontario July 2020
Woman "escorted" out of Value Village by Police using excessive force
Husband and Wife seniors arrested for trying to fill medical prescription in a Super Store
These are but just a few examples from the thousands of stories of people being "denied service" in the most cruel, disrespectful and unlawful ways.
Make no mistake about it, these kinds of interactions are still happening everywhere. Maybe because this has been happening for almost a year now, people might be getting used to this and thinking that this is the "new" normal. THERE IS NOTHING NORMAL ABOUT THIS.
We are no longer willing to tolerate any of this.
Stand Up Canada will be filing in Ontario Superior Court in the coming weeks against a Corporate business in Ontario for breaking the law by not honouring legal mask exemptions in public spaces:
This will create a major LEGAL PRECEDENT in Ontario which will benefit everyone who is unable to wear a mask.
We offer different ways you can support us with our legal challenge:
Stand Up Canada is a registered not-for-profit organization. All donations will go to OUR LEGAL CHALLENGE.
With gratitude, Stand Up Canada
